By downloading, installing, or using Playbook, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.

Acceptance of Terms

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Huy Dang (“Playbook”, “we”, “us”). If you do not agree, discontinue use and uninstall the app immediately.

Description of Service

Playbook is a sports community platform that helps users:

  • Discover and join open sports matches near them.
  • Find players at the right skill level.
  • Create and manage clubs and recurring events.
  • Log match results and track performance.
  • Communicate through in-app messaging.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

Eligibility

You must be at least 9 years old to use Playbook (9+ rating). If your jurisdiction requires a higher minimum age, you must meet that requirement. Users under 13 (or under the digital consent age in their region) should use Playbook only with a parent or guardian’s permission.

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, all activity under your account, and keeping your profile information accurate.

  • Keep login details secure.
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
  • Maintain only one active account.
  • Do not create accounts to evade bans or restrictions.

User Content

You retain ownership of content you post, including photos, messages, and match records. By posting, you grant Playbook a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content solely to operate the service.

You must ensure that your content does not infringe third-party rights or violate these Terms. We may remove violating content without notice.

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Harass, bully, or threaten other users.
  • Create fake profiles or impersonate others.
  • Post spam, scams, or misleading content.
  • Share illegal, violent, or sexually explicit content.
  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or scrape the service.
  • Harvest user data without consent.
  • Use the app for unsolicited commercial solicitation.
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.

Violations may lead to immediate suspension or permanent removal without refund.

Match Hosting

Users who create matches are responsible for accurate details, lawful venue access, timely communication, and compliance with venue rules or permits.

Playbook is a platform only. We do not own, manage, or endorse any venue, and we are not responsible for disputes between organizers and participants.

Sports Disclaimer

Participation in sports involves inherent physical risks, including injury or death. You participate at your own risk.

Playbook does not provide medical advice or supervision. Consult a qualified professional before participating if you have health concerns.

Payments and In-App Purchases

Some features may require payment through Apple App Store or Google Play.

  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
  • Virtual currency or credits, if offered, have no cash value and are non-transferable.
  • Prices may change with notice.

Advertising

The free tier of Playbook may be supported by advertising through Google AdMob.

  • iOS users may be asked for ATT consent before personalized ads are shown.
  • The ad-free subscription removes advertising where available.

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property in the app, including the Playbook name, logo, design, and software, is owned by or licensed to Playbook. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free service, or the conduct of other users.

Limitation of Liability

Playbook is provided on an “as available” basis. While we work to keep the service reliable, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, off-platform sports injuries, content posted by other users, third-party actions, or temporary interruptions. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the prior 12 months (or zero on the free tier). Nothing here limits rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Playbook, its operators, and affiliates from claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the app, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for conduct that violates these Terms or harms the community. You may delete your account at any time through the app.

Sections covering content ownership, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnification, and governing law survive termination.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When material changes occur, we will update the date above and notify users when appropriate.
